"Michelle has been instrumental in the musical education of our twin daughters. They have been studying piano with Michelle for a year and a half, since they were four years old, and their transformation has been incredible. Her style of teaching was absolutely perfect for our daughters. She spent time focusing on ear training, musical expression, and musical theory, without ignoring any of the basics. She helped them, even at the beginning, to find their voice and refine their style, and she has no trouble changing her plans when needed, based on our daughters’ interest. She has an amazing ability to motivate them and help them succeed in each lesson and topic. She communicates clearly with us to help find materials, assigns practice activities to address specific concerns with each of our daughters, and follows up with them individually to help them progress on the items that they need to improve on. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better piano teacher."

"Ms Michelle is an extremely talented and educated pianist with effective teaching methods. Our son has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Michelle for the past four years. During those years, he really enjoyed playing the piano and developed much love and understanding for music. Ms. Michelle established a strong teacher-student bond with her patience and kind approach. She knows how to make the learning process fun and easy for children. As a parent I enjoyed her organized teaching styles and abilities to teach challenging pieces without pressure. I also appreciate her approach with home assignments as she sets clear goals and provides continuous feedback with positive encouragement. We are very grateful to Ms. Michelle and highly recommend her studio to anyone looking for a positive music learning experience for their children!"

"Michelle Wong is a great music teacher! She works with each student strengths and works to bring the very best out of each student! She passes on a love for music by making sure each student has enough variety. Michelle changes pace to not let the student get frustrated, but instead Michelle helps them overcome their obstacles with strategies. Michelle is patient, kind and has a great personality. She cares about each student's progress and teaches to each student individually. Michelle has worked with my son for 3 years and has taught my son ear training, sight-singing, theory, and performance skills. She continually changes her teaching plans and lessons to adapt to my son and his abilities and has taken him from a beginner to advanced mid level player in a few years. She has given our family a heart felt gift of music."

"I decided to take piano lessons when I turned 70 years old. I had never played any instrument in my life and I was never taught to read music. I was lucky to have Michelle for my teacher. She's always patient and encouraged me every step of the way. I'm amazed at what I have learned this year and will always be grateful to Michelle."
